Community Conversations: Hurricane Sandy

JOIN US FOR COMMUNITY CONVERSATIONS

Three years after Hurricane Sandy, New Yorkers are still reflecting on how communities were transformed and united by Sandy, and what it means to be fully restored.

GRAB AAUW will host a free Community Conversation through the NYS Council of Humanities on October 28, 2015 at 12:15 pm in the Program Room at the Perkins Mansion.

The program entitled Recovery from Disaster – After Sandy will include a short text and open discussion. When Superstorm Sandy struck on October 29, 2012, it unleashed catastrophic damage up and down the East Coast. In its wake New Yorkers came together to clean up, help out, and rebuild.
