ALTERNATIVES for Battered Women (ABW) and AAUW invite you to join us for the 20th Anniversary Celebration of the passage of the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA 1994).

It will be a special evening honoring Congresswoman Louise Slaughter, whose tireless efforts over many years made possible the triumphant passage of VAWA in 1994 and in subsequent years, most recently the multi-year battle for its renewal in 2013.
